On Friday an international symposium takes place about the Russian composer Galina Ustvolskaya, her works and her special position in the history of music in the Sovjet Union. The symposium is organised byAsko|Schönberg, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t  IJ and the University of Amsterdamen. 
Speakers o.a. Alexander Ivashkin, Rachel Jeremiah-Foulds, Elena Nalimova, Olga Pantaleeve en  Elmer Schönberger.
