VS tour – Baltimore

We received a special invitation from the Library of Congress, the world’s largest library with an extensive programme including lectures, exhibitions and concerts, and the Peabody Institute (conservatoire) of Johns Hopkins University to perform at their venues. As such, Asko|Schönberg will travel to the United States at the start of 2020.

In Baltimore we will present predominantly Dutch composers to the audience. Martijn Padding wrote an overture especially for this occasion, Hello Peabody People, to acknowledge the local audience. In addition, our musicians will hold workshops and master classes for Johns Hopkins music students.
