Design duo MARTAN (Diek Pothoven & Luuk Kuijf) presents House of Salt, a multidimensional happening.

The design duo has teamed up with Asko|Schönberg and director Willem Gerritsen to organise this premiere show. Gerritsen created a short film for the show, starring actors such as Minne Koole, Benja Bruijning, Olga Zuiderhoek and Tanja Jess. Asko|Schönberg commissioned Raphael Vanoli (guitarist & composer) to compose the music for House of Salt, which will be performed live during the show.

Design duo MARTAN exists of Diek Pothoven and Luuk Kuijf. They made their debut in 2017 with the opening show of Amsterdam Fashionweek in the Gashouder. They created a fashion film around the collection, which went on to win multiple international awards. Ever since they have been working on exhibitions, shows, campaigns and events within the creative industry. Now they initiated House of Salt, a short film that grew into an immersive collaboration between fashion, film and music, inspired by the story about Andreas Grassl, the Piano Man.
