Het Muziek Studio invites experimentation.
Between the garages and shipyards of Amsterdam North, we invite creators to rehearse, but also to develop new perspectives in collaboration with other disciplines, such as visual artists, musicians, writers, philosophers, or theatre makers.
During a multi-day residency, Het Muziek Studio transforms into their laboratory. The results are presented during GRASnacht, where the audience experiences the outcomes of their experiment up close. GRASnacht is a bold cultural project, organized and driven by a new generation of creators.
Four times a year, our residents share their work during GRASnacht. Get ready for a season full of unconventional creators and challenging performances. From electronic beats from the mountains to a new series with violinist Joe Puglia. The 2025/2026 season at Het Muziek Studio is not to be missed!
