Wonderlijke Klanken [Miraculous Sounds] is the joint project of Asko|Schönberg and the Concertgebouw for primary school fourth graders. Each year 6000 seven-year-olds visit the Concertgebouw to experience three concerts in which they also participate. The story centres around the ancient Ash King who wakes up once every so many years. He then shakes up his blankets, causing enormous ash clouds to spew from the crater of the Schoenberg.
