Open rehearsal new work Kate Moore

A new percussion concerto for Claire Edwardes

Open rehearsal for the new work by composer Kate Moore

The Australian-Dutch composer Kate Moore is writing a concerto for Australian percussionist Claire Edwardes. The new work is a loud, fierce cry in the wilderness, exploring the boundaries of rhythm and sound.

World Premiere
The new work will have its world premiere on Thursday, April 16, at 8:15 p.m. during the concert by Het Muziek and Claire Edwardes, conducted by Clark Rundell.

This composition commission has been made possible with the support of Ammodo.
