Statement on the war in Gaza

The situation currently unfolding in Gaza defies all imagination. Innocent lives are being destroyed, communities violently torn apart. This ongoing suffering is unbearable and unacceptable.

As a musical ensemble committed to connection, we cannot remain indifferent. That is why we are suspending all professional relationships with institutions that are directly supported by the Israeli government. This decision is not aimed at individual artists or independent initiatives. On the contrary, we stand in solidarity with those working from within toward justice and peace.

We call on the Dutch government to do everything in its power to help end the bloodshed in Gaza, through diplomacy, international cooperation, and political pressure. Every act of humanity, every voice for peace, matters.

What we can offer, we offer in sound. With music that invites listening to sorrow, to hope, to one another. Amidst violence, we seek resonance: a tone of humanity and nuance that refuses to be silenced.

For us, music is a space without borders or labels, where voices meet and differences are given meaning.
Because music stands for connection and connection remains our most powerful response to injustice and violence.
