A diverse and experimental program by our residents
On Thursday, March 19, our next GRASnacht takes place, featuring a diverse and experimental program by various makers. During GRASnacht, creators and musicians get the opportunity to present the work they developed during their residency at GRASpunt. This edition features rising Georgian electronic producer Anushka Chkheidze and multi-instrumentalist, composer, and theatre maker Jonathan Bonny.
Two performers meet at the intersection of live percussion and electronic beats — a musical exploration of meaning on the dance floor, between hope and collapse. In times like these, music and art can feel meaningless. And yet, we continue. Not to escape, but to feel. To search for meaning in what we do and why.
This project by Halfie + the0ther is about how music — especially electronic, rhythm-driven music — creates space for both despair and hope. It’s a project about reclaiming joy as an act of resistance.
Also on the program: our next resident and versatile musician, pianist, composer, and arranger Jochem Braat, followed by one of our Het Muziek musicians with a surprise performance.
This inspiring evening will take place at our GRASpunt workshop, Grasweg 41R in Amsterdam Noord. Interested in attending GRASnacht? Send an email to info@hetmuziek.nl.
